This is an alternative “day out” and more for the explorers as it is a former Asylum.
It was also used as a War Hospital. It is an eerie but interesting place!

Inchcolm Island: Ferry
Inchcolm Island, Firth of Forth, Fife. The Maid of the Forth Ferry departs from the Hawes Pier, South Queensferry.
Visit the ‘Iona of the East.’ Dogs are welcome on the boat and island but just need to be kept on a lead.

East Lothian: Belhaven Bay
John Muir Country Park – Dunbar, East Lothian, EH42 1NN
Stop off at belhaven fruit farm on the way to get some strawberries. Then have a wander round the town in Dunbar.

Edinburgh: Harrison Park
The park is in the Merchiston area of Edinburgh and popular with dog walkers. There is also walk nearby along the Union Canal.
