WEST’s Bare Bones Rules
New rules apply at West Bar in Glasgow:

WEST’s dog-friendliness is based on Heidi, Petra’s Golden Retriever, being a much loved member of the WEST team. We actually think we are real dog lovers here at WEST.
The feeding rule applies to human food from dinner plates. Sadly, we have witnessed too many pooches being fed (some with cutlery!) off the table and we simply don’t allow that (Hence the image of a burger next that rule). OF COURSE, dog treats are OK! We would never say no to that.
Our “three bark rule” is purely as a consequence of some really mad barking matches of late which are no fun for anyone, dog lover or not. We pride ourselves on respect, and much as we love dogs, we realise some of our guests are not dog owners and hence less tolerant. Sadly, we had an incident last year where a dog which was not on a lead bit a child in the beer garden. We rely on all of you to ensure this will NEVER happen again.
