Inchcolm Island, Firth of Forth, Fife. The Maid of the Forth Ferry departs from the Hawes Pier, South Queensferry.
Visit the ‘Iona of the East.’ Dogs are welcome on the boat and island but just need to be kept on a lead.

Stop off at belhaven fruit farm on the way to get some strawberries. Then have a wander round the town in Dunbar.

To get to the beach go along the A198 and if you are coming from the south toward North Berwick, after passing through Tyninghame village, turn right onto Limetree Walk (will be a left if travelling down the A198 from North Berwick – see map below).
