We have just returned from our two weeks vacation in Scotland.Your country is the most dog-friendly country we ever visited and it seems that a 75 kg black and white Newfoundland (or Landseer, as you call them) was quite a bit of a sensation.

Highly recommend a visit to Braid’s Bar in Elie. Bran and Mal (our greyhounds) were very welcome and got a complimentary bowl of doggie biscuits and water.

The Raeburn opened in 2014 and is a great dog friendly venue in our favourite part of Edinburgh – Stockbridge. One thing that has been missing in Edinburgh is a dog friendly venue with a beer garden and the Raeburn sorts that out.

Woody-dug and I went to the Traverse Bar in Edinburgh last night. We went to The Hanging Bat first and received a very warm welcome, but it was too busy for a wee dug, so we went down the road.
