Dogs are allowed on board the ferry from Giles Bay Thurso to St Margarets Hope in Orkney. They are allowed on the upper deck only (not lower deck).
It is roughly an hour crossing and it can get cold on the upper deck so recommend if bad weather wrapping up. Also to stand behind the operations room to protect yourself from the wind.
