The Old Ship in Padstow, or should I say Padstein as it is known, is a great pub.

The sign says ‘Dogs invited with big spending owners’. What a lovely pub, as soon as we sat down Bailie got a biscuit, a bowl of water and a big fuss.

This is the first of many campsites that we’ve visited. A lot of campsites are dog friendly and it’s a great way to get away with your pup, Bailie’s rather fond of a grilled marshmallow….!

Inverleith Park, Arboretum Pl, Edinburgh, EH3 5NY
How can I not mention it? It’s a haven in the city for us dog owners. The boundries of the park are closed in enough that you can let your dog run free, watch out for the duck pond though, I had to fish Bailie out of it a few weeks ago, and there was me thinking that Lhasa Apsos don’t like water.

Crusoe Hotel, 2 Main Street, Lower Largo, Fife, KY8 6BT
We went to the Crusoe Hotel (a la Robinson Crusoe). It’s right on the beach in Lower Largo in Fife about a 40 min journey from Edinburgh by train and taxi.
